Good morning, Am not a technical person. Have used lyx without problems for years. Suddently the document previewers (all of them, e.g. dvi, pdf) do not work any more. They start up and quit. Printing still works. Suggestions welcome. Thanks and regards, lux

Dear David, Had the same problems installing Lyx 1.1.6 to Debian 2.2. Here is the hack that led to "successful" (but not debianized) install: download SuSe 6.4 version of xpm as root use mc to see the .tar.gz xpm.rpm file use mc to COPY the libraries into their destination directories, which
