My wife wanted to do a search and replace to replace 1/2 with ? and 3/4 with ? but we couldn't paste that with Ctrl-V or middle-click (in X). So I used vim to edit the lyx document. Also I wanted to replace '1/3' with the corresponding evil red text. How can I paste in ERT in the Find dialog?

o over 100MB due to the new PNGs, but I think my printer will accept that. I read that pdflatex accepts JPEG, TIFF, PNG, or PDF. I assume that means that a JPEG, TIFF, and PNG are the supported raster image formats for embedding in a PDF. Does anyone know if using a tiff would be better than a zero compressed png? Jeremy C.
