Just noticed a working model 100 for $85 on OfferUp from here in the
Seattle area. Sounds like a good deal!
It's there, just here: https://ftp.whtech.com/club100/com/

In response to Mike.
I got your entoke.exe file, but it on a Win10 computer and it only works on
32-bit computers. Have a Win95 computer here, so maybe I'll give it a go on
it. If Win95 isn't 16-bit
Looking forward to Bob's version!

Has anyone figured a good way to recompile multiple BA files into their
proper format. What I mean is, we can take the BA files, rename them DO
files, load them into M100 and save them as BA files and then run them.

So I got a "new" M100 and it works great. Opened it up to replace the
battery and the capacitors. But I noticed the following "leakage" which I
don't recall seeing covered in any videos.
I think this is X1, which is a crystal.

Starting a new thread to my mcomm on linux thread.
I figured out a way to get programs from computer to M100. However, nothing
works. I'm wondering if this has to do with what other people were talking
about when transferring .DO vs .BA files.
First how do I get files over to the M100.

Well, if I try to rename ADVENT1.BA to ADVEN.DO, it still says file already
exists and actually it just creates ADVENT1.BA in RAM.
I even tried LOADing a .DO file. Again it says file already exists, but
this time the file in RAM has 1 bit. In reality it should be around 511.
Uh RAM is corrupte
Right, so I push Disk to see the files in my TPDD directory. So for
example, let's say I want to load ADVEN1.BA, which under FILE on the M100
shows as having 17875 bits (17.9 KB according to the computer). So all's
good.
RAM free is 23477
So I've killed ADVEN1.BA on the RAM side. I go to DISK, push
OK back to mcomm on linux. It does seem so far more stable than on windows.
However! when running my CPU is being taxed by python3.
Anyhow After I launch TS-DOS on M100, I can go to Disk and see all the
files that will fit on the screen. Looking at the TSDOS documentation it
seems that I should
Ok this was stupid Forget all that. Turns out I have unplug the cable
from the computer restart mcomm and then it works.

Btw it seems logical that maybe the DISK option (F4) would access the

So last night I got mcomm up and running on a Windows machine. Transferred
TPDD over to my M100. Saved it. Now what? I've been searching for
instructions on how I now access files on my computer to transfer them to
the M100. It's emulating a disk, right, so what command do I use to load a
file?
I have yet to get the cables for connecting my M100 to my computer to
access files. However in the meantime I have installed mcomm. I'm wondering
how I'm supposed to use it.
So if I enter the command: mcomm -lit says there are no serial ports
available. Perhaps once it's plugged into the M100
I can use Telcom and connect to BBS's. When on a session you have the
options to (I forget the exact terminology on the screen) UPLOAD, DOWNLOAD.
So if I can upload and download files, why can't I build my own FTP SERVER?
or whatever server, put the program files on it and download them to the
Mod
1 more questions (but there will likely be many more)
Will I need some special program on the Model100 in order to access the
"server." If so, what program?

Well, I just discovered the W key doesn't work. Is there a trick to pulling
off the key caps? Pulled on it, but it doesn't want to budge. Afraid there
might be some locking mechanism on them. I realize I may have to resolder.

Really need to start saving my searches... anyhow, I know I somewhere saw

I have some many power supplies, but going through them all, they are
mostly 9 or 12 v. But I finally found one that is 5.7 v, 800 mA. On test
turns out it's center positive, but that's easy to fix. However, I think
the jack is too small. Anyhow, I can probably rig something up, if I get

God knows I have tons of those as well. I'm always afraid when mismatching
voltage, amperage. Not that I haven't done it many times before! So thanks

Just joined the list as I just acquired a used TRS80 Model 100. Of course
it's not working, so I just wanted to first ask for some advice. I have
been reading info at Club100.
Basically, I feel I need to buy some stuff at Club100. First and foremost a
new battery, which is highly recommended. Also
