You can check the Mail Archive link to my posted reply to Phil about Checkbook

Hi there
I have IBooks on my IPad. When I am reading a document, I have a couple of
issues. If I am multi-tasking, and move out of IBooks, when I return to it,
it wants to start reading the page again. Is there any way I can pick up
where I left off? Also, I was wondering, is there any way
Hi Paula,
Create an Instapaper bookmarklet for Safari, and then when you're on a web page
you want to save for later reading in Instapaper, just apply the bookmarklet.
The instructions on the developer's web site are clearly explained, and the

Thanks very much for this Esther. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi, folks.
After I installed ML, I created a file in Text-edit which, if I look in the

Hi Mike
iBank is one which seems to be used quite a lot. I did have it set up at one
time but haven't had time to play with it recently. Must give iBank another

Hi Gordon,
yes I've used, and continue to use, the Pro version quite a bit. I do some of

This is a good guess, but it sounds like a corruption somewhere within the
operating system. How frequent this can happen is anybody's guess since I only

Hi there,
I've not seen much of this under Mountain Lion. However I find that pressing
vo-cmd-f8 then enter (in other words bringing up the "welcome to boiceover"
dialog, and then from this launching voiceover often resolves such issues.

One other thing to try, as long as you're using the Magic Trackpad, do a
three-finger double tap to unmute VoiceOver, and see if that works.
I have heard that that will solve the problem.

I have found the Magic trackpad a nightmare for muting Voiceover with the
slightest accidental touch. Listening to a David woodbridge podcast it seems
that this is a problem other users also experience so this does not seem a
problem confined to me. So I suspect that the Magic trrackpad is trippi

Hello David,
Many thanks for your Email. I too find it too easy to accidentally mute
VoiceOver by accidental touches of the magic track pad and so like you have it
safely out of harms way.
I did set up a hotkey to mute/unmute VoiceOver as you describe. However in my

I have tried asking this question before. I can't find anythkng that pertains

I have a network with both PCs and Macs. On all computers that are resources

correctly.
Try vo shift spacebar on the address that brings up the menu that allows you to

Yes, I tried your suggestion of the v o shift h and then it's worked
consistently from that point on just using v o shift m while interacted in the

highlights something hidden in there. Now I have not turned off mail a
