You can technically run Protools on a Mini, just like you can run it on an iMac. However, that doesn't mean that you'd want to. Most all DAW systems, Protools included, need two hard drives (one for system software, applications, and plug ins, and a second for audio data), for best performance.

Hi, To choose fields as well, VO-Space on the "Customize" menu button. VO-left and right will announce fields just fine. Keep in mind that VoiceOver does not hide visual arrangement of items on the screen like most third-party screen readers, so you might want to go passed the label. Regards,

I think you can compare apples to apples( Not talking about Apple products to Apple products ).If it all has the same hardware like same processer , same memory and amount and same size and speed of hard drive and so on you can compare it. Now the fact is yes you are going to pay more for the Mac.
