Just hit command O on the file for the corresponding VM. It'll open

Hi Colin and everyone,
No. Unfortunately speeding up voice rate really won't help, at least not for
my ear. I'm not practiced at listening to fast speech. Although I've known a
few fast talkers in my day. But I try hard to stay away from that kind of
verbosity as well.

Well I've no knowledge of windows!
So cannot compare but the only key echo I can find is the option to change

But I do not think this is what your looking for!

Actually no. It's the rate of speed at which the character echoing occurs.
For example, if you are a Jaws or Window-Eyes user, arrow through your "on the
fly" keyboard verbosity settings, (In Window- Eyes, CTRL+ Alt + arrow keys),
and you will be able to find what I am talking about.

Do you mean by "key echo" that you want to hear or not as the case may be each
key as you type? I think You should be able to set it in VoiceOver utility
activated by vo+f8. In VoiceOver utility choose verbosity and then text tab and
you can set your key echo to what you wish.
hope this helps.
As I have learnt today, Cocktail is a Mac application that does all sorts of

There wasn't any mention of accessibility in the biography at all, but

You may want to run a permissions repair, which can be accessed via Disk

number of maintenance tasks and this did correct the problem.
