This is not good news. I wonder why Readability is shutting down today? Well,
looks like we'll have to see if Readkit releases an update.

No, in the end I resorted to sighted assistance, and it renders differently for

less efficient. I also note that Readability is shutting down which Readkit

Hi everyone, the RSS reader ReadKit is one of my favourite MacOS apps.
Since upgrading to Sierra, VO has changed the way it speaks in the list of
articles. Previously, I would hear the headline, a preview of the article, and
then the source, which for me is optimal. Now though, VO is speaking
Hi David,
I’ll admit, the screen that comes up when you initially open ReadKit is a bit

Well, this won't be of much help to you and I apologize for that.
I had some sort of problem when I had ReadKit set to view all articles and
tried to mark all read. It seemed that with articles set to view all and when
trying to mark as read, something didn't go quite right. I admit
Hi all,
I regularly use Lire on iOS and ReadKit on OS X to read my RSS feeds. The way I
have things set, any article I read (or mark as read) gets cleared, so that
when I open either app, only articles that are new will appear. However,
ReadKit has randomly decided to hang on to a bunch of
Hi,
I was under the impression that you could add new feeds from within ReadKit.
However, every time I try, the OK button jus keeps saying dimmed, and I for the

Hi Juliette. Most feed aggregators support an open standard called OPML. What
you'll need to do is export the feeds from feedly to an OPML file, then import
that OPML file into your account with the other provider. Both websites should
provide for import and export.

Hi all,
This might be a really stupid question. But I had both a Feed Rangler

the Feed Rangler account. So how can I get the feeds from my Feedly account
into Feed Rangler? Thanks.

Please disregard my question about ReadKit.

I have logged into my Instapaper account from ReadKit, however, I cannot view

Yeah, it's a bit odd and annoying. I think some of the syncing services allow
you to add subscriptions through an RSS client, but FeedWrangler which I use
doesn't allow it yet.

Hi,
I replied to Alex's post on the same topic so I won't fully repeat myself here.
For full info, see that thread. However, basically you need to either use a
syncing service such as FeedWrangler or FeedBin to manage your feeds and then
sync that with ReadKit (which is the preferre

The first way is to add them through a syncing service like FeedWrangler or

Hello All,
Someone has recently posted on ReadKit for mac. I’ve purchased it but I have no
idea how to add an RSS feed to it. the option exists under the file menu but it
is dimmed. I’ve been trying to find info on this on the internet but to no
avail. What am I missing? how do people use
x27;s dev about adding that.
There's no way I'm going to live with two repeated RSS streams!
A quick question about Readkit: I can't add subscriptions! I see that "add feed
subscription" is dimmed, and only "add smart folder" is not. How, then, do I

.
you can create a custom smart folder for this purpose with File menu “Add smart
folder...”. You should set the “Favorited” rule to “YES”, then ReadKit will
list all of your starred items in the smart folder. Of course, you can set
additional rules, for example to filter starred items just from a

Just FYI, Brian, if you do decide to go with Feed Wrangler, I think you'll have
to import your feeds again into Feed Wrangler. I'm not sure it will
automatically import them from ReadKit – you'll have to export them from
ReadKit or Google Reader and import them into Feed Wrangle

icles this only involves one more key press for me than
NewsRack. For non-full text articles this actually saves me a few key presses
as ReadKit has those short cuts for Readability mode and opening in your

HI,
I'm using ReadKit on the Mac. When I use the down arrow to navigate down the
list of articles in a smart folder or feed, VoiceOver begins reading the title
of the article and then, after a second or so, cuts itself off and starts
reading the title again from the beginning.
