the resulting selection is a MI table, complete with its tabular data; how

Hi listers
Has anyone out there come up with a method of exporting a mapinfo layout
to a CAD package. In particular we need to be able to export a layout to
Microstation but I could live with an Autocad export.
I've tried saving a layout window to a wmf, importing to Coreldraw then

Hi Steve,
Flavio is right - attempts to export a layout to CAD are probably doomed to
failure. I wouldn't bother with printing to a postscript file then importing
this to a CAD package, either!
To partly address this problem, we have had to resort to Mapbasic to export

Ive exported layouts from Mapinfo to AutoCad before without too much loss of
quality.
I didn't take the actual map window data, just the frame. To do this I
simply selected all from the layout, created a new table, and pasted the
frame into the new table. Save this table and then export

That little box displays the letters DIG for when you are using a digitizing table, etc. When you turn on/off digitizing mode the DIG appears and reappears from that little box.
Ok, I'll take that virtual pat on the back, now... :P

Hello all,
I have hydrography from tiger data which contains linking information. That

I searched the archive, but the solution wasn't there.
I tried holding the Alt key and entering 232, (the ascii code for an e with

Any help?

Both of the software packages 'Discover' and 'GeoBasemap' provide tools for
adding grids to your map. The advantage given by Discover is that any grid
can be overlain on a map, whereas most of the free tools you can get, and
GeoBasemap, can only add a graticule in the same projection as the map
