Dear Listers,
Does anyone know how to 'unlink'a cloned

I have a workspace with one original map window which was

Hi Folks,
Thanks to Rob Crossley and Steve Chan for their

Steve's reply sums it up nicely:

Hi Folks,
I'm currently running MapInfo on WinXP with a

Kevin,
Try themapinfo (mapbasic) tool called WindowManager

Look in:

ones that come with MapInfo.
Hope this helps,

Hi Listers,
I'd like to have a workspace where I have a DBMS tablejoined to a GIS

The idea is that some properties will

Thanks for your time.

Hi again,
The friday fog has lifted (no doubt courtesy of that last caffeine blast...).
I found a reference to a function called the InStr Function in the MIPro User
Guide that allows me to do precisely what I need.
In this function (called within the QuerySelect or QuerySQL select
select command is NOT case sensitive.
The wildcard select option is easier and quicker to use for my straightforward
need.
Thankyou all for your informing responses!

Hi Andrew/Listers,
Have you ever had a problem where the .ecw format is not recognised by the

I have built the .gst's (~60 of them - each with a custom built and registered
