Try using linear interpolation and not polynormal, this can sometimes help.

This may seem a dumb question, but why will you be limited to MS VS .NET, I
thought as long as you can compile against the CLR you could use any .NET

Thanks to Ian Erickson and Lars Nielson, for your input.
If you are going to use this tool (or other HTTP tunnelling software), I
would check with your IT department before you start. This software may not
work with all WMS servers or all Proxy servers and firewalls.

Hi All,
Does anyone know of a tool that will produce either a flow diagram or UML
diagram of MapBasic code from the source code? I have been drawing flow
diagrams with Visio, but something that would read the code and create the
drawing would make life much easier.

This option may become more viable since MapInfo has stopped selling MapInfo

What version of Vertical Mapper are you using. I have just finished a
contouring job and I was able to stipulate the Minimum, and Maximum
Levels and the Interval.
I am using Vertical Mapper 3. When I bring up the Grid Manager and
Select Contour there is an Interval Button. This will let
Hi Howard,
Are you tring to go through a proxy server of some kind??
I have had problems going through proxy servers, and also some WMS

This problem is driving me nuts, today it wouldn't actually shutdown
MapInfo, just repeated the dialog with the same memory address.
PLEASE HELP...

Thanks to all those who sent replies.
The solution is to create an OLE link back to the running copy of
MapInfo. From there you can use .Do and .Eval to access the data.

don't want to pass it all as variables. At this stage I
am reading the data from SpatialWare, this is working well enough, but
reading from the open tables would be better.

Hi All,
Has anyone worked with using MapInfo or MapX with MySQL 4.1 and the
MySQL Geometry types?
I know you can use it as a simple database, but I am looking at using
the spatial extensions that are built-in much like SpatialWare.
