Here is one way to do it. You just make a selection of the selection
into a temporary table(Zoomtable). You add it to the map, then set the
map zoom to that entire layer:

looked at both ArcGIS and MapInfo. We looked at 3 time cost parameters.

We get this error too. We first noticed it when we upgraded from MIPro 7.5
to 7.8. I think is a 7.8 feature. We were on W2K at the time but now
we're on XP and it has not gone away. It only occurs on text and csv exports
to my knowledge. The good thing is that it's a benign error that
in talking to people who use Aceess databases
which have associated polyline or ploygon data.

tract / block / block group polygons. It has been some time since I've done
this, but just root around and you'll find it. Since you're looking for 1980
data, just look for the Summary (S3?) files.

This isn't so elegant but you could have them choose a file in the folder
you want to save out:
file_chosen = FileOpenDlg(, ,tab;*.* , Choose any
file in the folder you want to use)
folder_chosen = PathToDirectory$(file_chosen)
Like I said, it ain't
a system to generate the MMS and the SMS,
what solution is the best ? Using MapPoint, or MapXtreme or an other SDK to developp
this ?
And an other question, what are the main differences between MapPoint and MapXtreme ?

I'm guessing *.REX files are ArcView's version of raster or grid files. I
have MapInfo 7.5 and Vertical Mapper 3.1, but can't figure out how to open
an ESRI file with this format (it has the SHP/SHX files too).
Help!
