WILL be a digital/analog conversion somewhere on the signal's way...
The signal will be in stereo, don't worry ! Analog handles stereo

So get behind your MD deck, take the 2 RCA outputs (left and right) and plug

Link the Line Out on the Minidisc to the Line In on the cassette deck is
probably your best bet. I do this regularly because my Dad hasn;t joined the
20th century yet

Yes, the Sony MZ-R1, but it is not dissimilar to a brick in many ways (large,
combersome and heavy). It is an old unit though, no longer available.
