service guy about MD. I said that I had heard best buy wouldn't be
carrying
them any more, and he said that was true.
You must be aware
as i was one of the first to reply this time i'll restate what i
said then. it depends on the Best Buy you go to. the best buy's in my
areas have several home decks and many portables. i hate to burst your
bubble but around here they have yet to eliminate either kind.

and if MD disappears, how will portable recording be handled?
an MP3 based
recorder (i think there is only 1 out right now) they will continue to use
DAT and MD.
