Doesn't have to have damping, just has to not be in two pieces.

So I got a new little rubber grommet for the antenna on the SD. Getting
the screw out of the bottom of the antenna assembly was a PITA with all

I have become even more frustrated with the electr windows. Have been

Im not sure where you are, but in all other parts of the world, used car
prices are way down. Even rare and desirable cars are way way down. In
fact, if its not an econo box something or other, its going to be way
way way down.

Put the car on jack stands by putting the jack stand in the access
hole in the control arm. You will probably have to compress the
strut some, but not much.
DO NOT leave the control arm hanging free just supported by a floor
jack -- if it slips (which is likely, there isn't a flat spot on
It's still a very desirable and uncommon car -- 29 mpg on the highway
and goes like a scalded cat, very reliable. A year doesn't make that
much difference, and if anything, used car prices are up from last
year, not down.

probably didnt even have to lower the jack now that I think about it,
strut just unbolts and you can pull it out regardless of control arm

No. Though I have the Klann, and I have replaced both struts in
the 190D, I've never had to introduce these two items to each other.
Floor jack was the only special tool involved in the strut replacement.

If you coat that beef in some flour/pepper and brown it in some olive
oil or some such before cooking it, rather than just boiling it
straightaway, you will get lots more flavor and the flour will thicken
things up a bit too as it all cooks.

I think he is saying his will not downshift all the way to 2nd. But
yes, you are right, his should normally drop to 2nd and start out in 2nd
unless the kickdown switch is hit or its shifted down to low.
