Sounds like either a relay problem or a short in the wire that the stalk grounds
for intermittent.

Stalk. It can be carefully removed, taken apart, and cleaned. I also
think that you could take it mostly apart and clean it in place, but
I've never done that.
The end cap can be carefully pried off to take it apart, but make sure

Some time ago I saw a submission about being sure to get the alignment marks
right. The new transmission has a good rubber universal joint already
attached to the differential, so I'll simply be bolting the end of the

Thanks Fred, Curt, and others who wrote. Looked at the flex disk that came
already mounted on the replacement diff and didn't see anything but the
Mercedes logo, the part number, and the number 10. The side facing the diff
appeared to have more lettering but couldn't see it very well tonight.

Think this is one where they're showing you the good side. lol. Front left
light is gone, looks like the rear left light gone too. My money is on, a
lot between the front and rear isn't looking so good either. But if the
