your battery overnight, but won't prevent the battery from charging normally

Another thought. On my tractor site there are a surprising number of battery
cable failures where the conductor corroded inside the insulation (so still
looks fine). Often the process of moving the cable to change/charge the
battery would restore function, briefly (like for one start).

I have no idea, but since I’ve been watching the market for the last couple of
years, I’ve paid close attention to “loose”” systems and components with the
intent of having to retrofit a non-AC equipped car should I have ended up with
one. People are getting stupid money for them.
