With that kind of amp draw per light bar, I'm thinking they must be Halogen
bulbs, which in todays LED world are "old stuff".
First, ask what lights he is wanting to run. Then suggest he switch to
LEDs, which are much lower amp draw and much better light.
Just switched to an LED landing light on
I've seen articles on dual alternators for aircraft, but they are usually
for totally redundant electrical systems, not twice the amps.

his 1989 Tucker Sno-Cat. The machine is powered by a Cummins 6BT and currently
has a 105amp alternator. Those big light bars are

the usual cause. Seems to me the B2 failure lets you go back but not
forward.

350SDL rodbenders with bent rods have dried up. A 124 300D with a bad
engine would be a good candidate too. Maybe in a year I might have

The one that Jaime helped me get is actually the correct wheel for 66-67 W110s.
It’s fatter and has two grooves in it. The original wheel for the earlier
W110/111/112 models is thinner in cross section and has no grooves.

Even if they would the resale wouldn’t make it worthwhile after you do the top
hydraulics and the bumper. That’s probably $1500 or more DIY. Top hydraulics
will cost you $700-$800 for the rebuilt cylinders alone.
These cars are not flipworthy unless it’s a special one, like an anniversary
I doubt if the seller would go that low but who knows, for a bit less it
would probably be a good deal if you factor in $1000 for the top, and
$1000 for the bumpers. Yeah, so maybe $4k wouldn't be a bad offer.

I went and looked at this car yesterday. I put in my max bid at 475. It sold
for $8xx. Car was clean and the low miles looks correct but it is listed as
mechanical. Battery was not dead but unknown if it would start. Also, not shown
in the pics is a huge dent in the rear where they must have
