In most places it is paved. Not all paved. Still long sections are gravel. SWMBA drove up, then a round trip to SEA. The biggest issue is getting the car to light off at -40c of a winter. Paired with a duovalve with a mind of its own as to when hot is called for, no matter which season.

Used tires are not good land fill.. they will always migrate to the surface and do not decompose. Call your local swimming pool contractor... they are always looking for a place to dump dirt and rocks from when they dig a new pool.. usually free delivery unless you are off the beaten track.

I heard an interview with the director of our airport last night and it was pretty interesting. Southwest is the major carrier at TPA, and they’ve cut flights significantly. What’s interesting is that even with one flight a day, there are so many infrastructure issues that have to be dealt with
