Have you guys been watching "Low Buck Garage"? He's got a very old bus that was
converted to a 6BT. They revived it from storage in CT and drove across the
country to NM. In the newest video he put a roof mount air-conditioner on it.
Pretty interesting stuff.

Tucker. I jump in, stomp my foot on the go pedal and crank it up.
The dammed John Deere engine in the ASV (the little yellow groomer I used to
run) is a bastard to start. To the point that this year one of my side projects

maybe they got it to CT and something happened, like a health issue or
something and they had to leave it there.

head units, but I’m pretty sure it was later. If so, the PO would have hacked
up the original harness or (hopefully) used adapters.

Turns out I was wrong, I had used Paintscratch.com which appears to exist. Just
about $50 for one can though, the shipping is killer.
Turns out Duplicolor makes a "match" for the color I need. I ordered 2 cans off
eBay for 2/3 (even accounting for smaller cans) of the cost.

Depends on how the Panasonic was installed. If the factory harness was used
with a proper adapter, then maybe the wiring is mostly intact. More likely, the
factory connectors were cut off and the Panasonic was connected using crimp
connectors. Then you've got a mess on your hands.

The cats have been stolen and I can find an aftermarket assembly for the right
but not the left. Also won’t crank. Somebody has jacked with t

It seems like the MB community keeps declining in good conversation and

Never really cared for forums or groups. Each one is something separate to keep
up with. Email I manage in one place and it’s just much more practical.

I was wading through the Model 116 - OM617 Maintenance Manuals this
evening and look
Jack up the car, high enough to gain access to the starter, [use
jackstands so you can get under it safely... Once in position, give the
starter a good smack with a good size hammer.. Then try engaging starter
again..
