Installed Ubuntu using virtual DAEMON to mount the image - I couldn't get a
bootable disk out of my system. Thus far it is a series of frustrations,
with not being able to get online [though it says on one screen that it is]
and not being able to get email. I'll probably play with it some more,
ubuntu will send you a bootable disc, no?

Personally I'd try redownloading it from here:
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
Hopefully this is where you got it from and the problem is with making
a bootable cd.

If you make a CD from the .iso file, you don't have to do anything
special to make it bootable. The iso is an image of a bootable CD, so
the copy made from it will be bootable. The BIOS of the computer needs
to be set to boot from CD before booting from hard disk some
older PC BIOSs don't

Perhaps but I doubt its as good, Thunderbird will let you invite others
which will stick the entry in their calender as well. There is another
plugin for thunderbird called synkolab that allows you
to work correctly or
some of the functions on my handheld.

Bill,
I just went online yesterday and am having them send me a copy of the
