No, unless you like skinned knuckles. It has to be something flat so it will
not slip off. Those bolts should not be tight but may be corroded. It helps

Mercedes intended them to be swapped over.
The trick with leaking oil caps is to get a balance between being tight and
loose. They should be hard to remove, if the oil cap in question is not

What I usally do in a case like this is to cut an allen key just enough so
it sits in the bolt plus a little bit sticking out and then get the
approprate size spanner on what is left sticking out. Good idea to get the
ring end on the allen key.
One of the tricks is not to get the allen key hot
Shouldn't that read: Delete as not needed

Probably superior in operation but hellishly expensive to fix if it breaks.

Now that Marshall has returned from his little journey into the unknown
pwehaps we could ask him wether he has any definitive literature in regards
to wether MB turbo Diesels start in first or second gear. I don't want to
start that arguement again but I don't think it ever got resolved one way
Far as I now the only two ways are replacement or taking it to a pro dash
repair place, personally I just put a dash mat over the cracks(held in place
with srews) and pretend that is how it came from the factory. There was a
genuine dash for a 201 on sharkbay a while back but they wanted big dol
