At long last, I got off my butt and updated my features_xwax branch to
merge nicely with later versions of trunk. It should now be as
functional as it was back in may, and I've even fixed some of the UI
bugs that were in there.
For those who aren't familiar with my branch, you can find it at

Good work, Owen. Since I do not know what additional features you are
going to add in your branch, here are some ideas.
Currently, if you double click on a track item in library (vinyl control
enabled), Mixxx loads the track always into deck 1. This is should be
fixed somehow.

Hi Owen,
Awesome stuff! I'm looking forward to reviewing this code later, and
I'm pleased that you rewrote the vinyl control code. Our roadmap still
has your vinyl control code targeted for Mixxx 1.10, so now's a great
time for people to be testing this. (Shoutcast and hydra are targeted
for 1.9,

Yeah, some screencasts might help. I don't have my decks anymore so I have
to emulate vinyl control.
Sean: if you're scratching with MIDI, you've either got jog wheels or an
SCS.3D. The SCS has the platter position light, and you can just mark your
jog wheel. You're never going to be DJ Q-Bert wit

So should I go ahead and revert the anti-stretchy changes? All in favor

I just did a little mix session with stretching off, and it was
definitely distracting having the beats not line up. So I reverted the
changes back to stretching mode.
At this point I think the vinyl control is "done enough" for me to
propose it for merging. Any changes I make now are going to b
Great, thanks Owen! Looking forward to reviewing the code.
