That's been going on here in Southern California as well. Its a response
to the street racing that is occurring. You can get inspected by a police
officer for the presence of additional gauges on your das

I can believe gettting a ticket for no valve cover, thats insane.
Never heard of cops checking your engine bay upon stopping you for.
Oh well, glad I am in Florida.
Here are the parts I've had sitting in a box for over a year now :)

I am interested in hearing how it goes and what
roadblocks you run into. I am trying to find the time
to install megasquirt in my 1991 16v.
I have begun to collect parts, but not much more than
that. It would be a great to swap ideas and compare

Megasquirt, eh? Well that brings up a whole bunch of questions:
What are you going to use for injectors?
Fuel rail? BBM or 034EFI?
Fuel pump?
FPR?
What about ignition, are yo

Odds are the plastic liners inside the doors are the problem.
Not a hard nor expensive repair. Pull the door hardware & cards and
then peel off what plastic is left. I've used one large "Contractor"
trash bag and was able to get a liner for each side out of it. Use
one of the old on

Now every season, I diligently check to ensure those drains are clear.

Thanks Ricky.
It does have a sunroof, but no water is leaking from the sunroof area.
If I pour water in the tracks at all 4 corners with the sunroof open
the the water drains to the floor by the wheels (I think it drains as
much as I pour in). Could some water leak inside the car instead of

If it's a sunroof car, check the sunroof drain tubes. there are four, one
in each corner.. They tend to get clogged up with leaves, pine needles,
etc.. as well as check the sunroof seal..
Door seals are another area to check..
