You are going to get two different exception thrown. (at least as of 2.1, I
have not verified if this is the case on 5.0). The first on is that the
database is not available. The second is that the connection handle is
invalid.
When the database is taken offline the flow reacts with the DB not

Orleans. It is a long-term project for the military(5-10 years). Very nice

Use FIFO if that is all you need. IF you set Priority and FIFO is all you
need I don't believe the performance reduction is enough for you to worry
about. Except may at QMGR restart time. What will cause you asprin
cinsumptions is when you have messages on the queue and you switch back and

I have not confirmed what someone stated to me about two weeks ago but I was
lead to believe there is now a client available for the mainframe. Maybe
it's the transactional client, I just did not follow it up.

I have a flow that look to a DB for a row by KEY. The database is empty. The
SQLCODE from the DB call is ZERO. I was expecting -100 or SOMETHING! The
flow then goes on to do it's work updating that same row which does not
exist and the SQL code coming back from that is ZERO also.

Is there a way to control the commital of work within a message flow WITHOUT
going back to an MQInput node. Can I perform the commit at an ESQL level.
