If I insert a link using the 'absolute path' (see image) then it fails. It
fails because the path has "C:\user\mlo\" added to the front of it.
So, my path is, say:
c:\data\file.txt
and the link created by browsing to the file using "Insert link to a file
..." context menu and choosing
This is normal practice for updates such as this. Microsoft did the same for
Windows 10 albeit on a larger scale but the principle is the same. Otherwise
the load on the servers and backend would cause problems.
