guide. I was recording my first show in the Mac frontend and when I
was on the guide, suddenly all the information

Another way to see what will be displayed is to install lcdproc and
run the server in curses mode. (set Driver=curses in /etc/LCDd.conf).
You can set the simulated screen size to see the differences
between 2 and 4 line displays, and see exactly what will be displayed
for each mode

I compiled and installed MythTV from scratch on Mandriva 2006
(x86_64). Everything works fine when I launch the frontend except for
"Watch TV" option on the first screen. When I click on it, nothing
happens. Nothing is printed in the logs either for the frontend or
backend. B
That's not really helpful :(
What am I missing?

I believe there is a tread about LiveTV
being disabled temporarily to debug some other problem

Hardware MPEG 2 decoding is definitely the way to go
if it's an option.
