One little tip I can offer here would be to make all the frontends
mount the shared video directory to the same path.
e.g. on frontend A, you could have it mount to /mnt/sharedvideos/
so on frontend B, you'd have to have it mount to /mnt/sharedvideos/
and so on.

seems to depend on whether I am watching live tv while
the HDTV recording is being made or not. If the
frontend is idle when the recording is made, I do not
