After some kind help from people on the list, I managed to setup a
Raid-5 ReiserFS system for my /video directory. Although I had yet to
put in a 3rd drive (running in degraded mode for about 1 day just to
test it out) I had some strange problems.

this is stressing me out. So basically by adding another drive to my
LVM group (which I assume means I am not striping I increased the
size of my drive at the cost of now giving 2 harddrives a chance to
fail instead of one. (shooot especially considering my luck with
hard drives.)

backend shutdown.
Everything else seems to be ok. The backend may have shutdown at some
random time, or it may have shutdown right when my wife tried to watch
a show through our Xbox front end. I'm not sure.

Update: Upon closer inspection, my mythfilldatabase command ran
properly at 7am. Does mythfilldatabase need the backened? Or is this
proof that the backend was up as of 7am?

I usually run with a custom kernel that matches my hardware
exactly. When moving to another box, I first copy on a
recent knoppix kernel and modules and make that my default
kernel. Once on the new box I can see what hardware it

Power isn't copletely off but nothing spins. Stays like that for awhile.

Maybe I am asking the wrong questions, sorry.
I am trying to access my Mythweb from my IMODE enabled cell phone.
Will mythweb detect the mobile browser automatically? I see you
mention themes, but I am not sure how to alter the theme on mythweb.
Is this a manual process or will it redirect it
Not really sure what happened. I tried to update my entire system
through YUM and it crashed halfway through. I then tried apt-get
upgrade and it crashed a number of times until completing after about
the 5th time.
I know that some XMLTV packages were updated and some were heldback

People have recommended brackets, quotes, slashes to deal with the
space in the share name and none of them have yet to work. hence, I
figured it would be easier just to have the smbmount command run
automatically on reboot.
any ideas? ;)

Evervyone is probably right about renaming the name of the share, but
should I be lead to believe that there is no way to run a command as
linux reboots? (ie, no autoexec.bat type of thing happening in
Debian?)
