We are having a problem in one of our machines, which has a huge number of IP
Addresses (most private IPs, some public).
snmpd uses 100% cpu most of the time trying to enumerate IPs (attaching with
strace confirms that). It sleeps f

archive and that changed [some?] line endings to CRLF. The suggested
fix on the mailing list was to use the cygwin command line tools to
unpack the archive but I used 7-Zip

I want to also forward a subset of these back to a third party vendor black

I encounter the above error message when I try to start
the Net-Snmp agent service in windows. The net-snmp trap handler is
working fine. I have disabled both the windows snmp agent and the trap
handler. I am using net-snmp v5.4.1-2.

You can easily do this with a shell script using the snmptrapd and snmptrap.
Just parse the snmptrapd return data, switch on trap number and send them out
with snmptrap accordingly.
