Has anybody seen the memory leaks with Red Hat 9 Net-SNMP 5.1.2?
I'm using the function CONTAINER_REMOVE to remove the context but its looks
like
it does not free memory? Eek? Has anybodyelse seen this? The context does
appear to be free from the list but no memory deallocation?

Visual C++ 6.0.
I installed the source package 5.2.1 and than the
binaries.
There are not enough include files in the binary distribution
for compilation.
Prior I installed the PSDK too like it was posted in

Did you run "make install" or try to install it by hand?
If you're cross compiling, you might want to read up on how "libtool"
works which is what we're using as a build system within Net-SNMP.

I tried to install it into a computer which has RedHat AS3 OS,but failed.

What errors does it give? It may be useful to try the "-f -Le" flags
to get everything on the console.

OK,
I've worked out that the command "/usr/local/sbin/snmpd
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf" is NOT the command to start net-snmp.
It should just be "/usr/local/sbin/snmpd". Thanks to Dave Shield for
confirming that.
I have also worked out that you should not have
Net-SNMP 5.5.rc2 has been placed in the files section of the Net-SNMP
project. This will either be the last or the second to last release.
