I have installed ML in a machine that allready had XP installed on it. The XP installation had some problems to say the least. It was 95% unusable. I was hoping to install ML and use it to retrieve data from windows. I was able to defragment XP and did manual partitioning When I installed ML.

I think you set your system to be auto loggin as I did. the user you see from the uptime command increase when you loggin at the command lien on the first time. You may see that if you go to the command line with ctrl-alt-f1 then login you will see the user will increase. I don't know why the

Hmmm, since gkrellm now shows '0' users, I get this when trying to lauch apps from the desktop, ie.. Eterm, Konqueror etcI can still start Eterm from Gkrellm though as well as xmms. Any way to set this right other than a reboot? This is apparently related to the '0' users. Had to reboot
