Hi,
I'm looking to get a DVD burner, and am having trouble sourcing things
from the Mandrake hardware compatibility list.
Does anyone know how up to date this list is?
Am I correct to think that anything that conforms to the IDE spec should
be OK?
Does anyone have stories of things to avoid?

Hi
I am attempting to install Mandrake 10.1 on an AMD Athlon 2000+ running
WinXP. I've been to hardware devices list but little detail as it was a
'pre-packaged' system. Display adapter VIA/S3G, legacy audio drivers.
I put the first disc in and the options highlight when I hover the
cursor.
