They are great if your want to quickly open a new window or indeed if you want
to get rid of a window.
To be honest I only use the new window gesture on a regular basis.

be taken as a minus or a dash by OO. Hence the (?). If you use the dash
(-) on the regular keyboard you should not have that trouble. It works
