I have found something interesting in the FAQs of Ranish Partition Manager. It says, 18. What about resizing of NTFS partitions? Unfortunately, there are no free utilities yet to do this. So you need to go for commercial/shareware utilities. Bootit Next Generation:

I use boot magic as my boot loader. Windows XP must be on the C drive since Boot Magic is a windows application. I just have lilo save to the LINUX partition. Boot Magic locates the windows and LINUX boot loaders. Boot magic is very easy to configure and use.
