rotella. gia settato ) e l'unica cosa che riesco a fare e' resettare

In the custom install, you can specify your Mouse information, but it
doesn't make you go through that. If you notice on the side during the
install there's a little start with Mouse Config, or something like that
next to it. CLick that little start and it will let you configure your
mouse.
Sounds like there may be a problem with your /etc/hosts file.
In /etc/hosts you can run a min-DNS server for lack of a better

How did you install
Windows should still be there but you should have installed GRUB on the
master boot record. This would give you the option to boot the OS's on your
PC.
Any external modem should be fine.

/usr/sbin/adduser admin -g 0 -u 0

I ran into that problem myself, but I'm not sure what else
caused this.
When you source your .bash_profile do you get any errors? When
you source your .bashrc do you get any errors?
Does the .bash_profile appear to be missing anything?
How do you change the (default) military time (I want a 12 hour clock)
on the panel clock in v8.0?

Not true about the external modem,, do not get a USB modem unless you know
for SURE, its not a winModem, many are...
If you are getting an external, get a serial modem,, at least that way you
can be sure its not a winmodem,, and make sure its hayes compatable...

A little problem - I just installed KOffice 2.01 over the top of the
version that came with Mandrake 7.2. This appeared to go OK but now it
won't start. When I try to start it, I get the revolving disk icon on
the KDE taskbar but it then disappears and ... er that's it.

us.robotics 56k v90 modem and i dont have any problems with it...you can
even buy a datron 56k its good also..Byz..
