Back to my CB750F. It was 65 degrees here today in central PA so I took the bike for a ten mile ride. It took a while to get it started and once I got going it was fine over 4,000 rpms with the choke off (not engaged). Under that it would run better with the choke on. It was a bit hard for

The right side panel on my buddy's Sabre fell off while I was riding it. It landed on the right foot peg and started flapping back and forth rapidly. All I know is it felt like someone had just grabbed my ankle while I was riding down the hwy at 65mph. I just about jumped off the back of that bike.

I broke the bottom stud off my right side panel. Cured the flopping around by forcing a fat hard rubber cushion (like that on a car suspension) between the bottom of the panel and the closest frame tube.? The tight fit cured the problem and the cushion is easily removable when the panel needs to

I've often wondered about glassing some hard drive magnets onto the back side of my panel to see if that would make them stick on better. Another friend of mine actually threads a small bit of fishing line through one stud and ties the other end to the frame so if it does fall off it won't go far.

On second thought, I always thought that those panels could be better fastened with hinges, that screw off for removal. Since you're motivated to do something, and have an otherwise junk panel, to improve it (read:hack-job) you could try Ace Hardware for some big 2" door hinges and cut them down.
