i know that the roommates 600 1988 shadow was the same carbs as my 1200 1986
GL... just half as many... i would look at other honda bikes from that era
(plus or minus 3-5 years) make shure to get lots of pictures to make shure

does most of the work - raising the needle to let more fuel flow
through the main jet when vacuum is increased by opening the butterfly

Put pennies or washers between the coils to make the spring longer.
Basically you bend the spring and place the pennies between to coils,

an article about chemically desulfating batterys... basically you add episom
salts (magnesium sulfate) in a solution to the batery, and

I bought mine from exactly that place (thanks to Anthony advice). It took
them about 3 or 4 days to get the part since they didn't have it on stock,
but once they got it they sent it right away to me. They were nice enough to
keep me informed all the time about it. I recommend it too.
