I put a good 92 750 Nighthawk motor in my 91 bike. I had trans problems with
the original motor. Also neutral switch problems. Finally got it shifting
right but no neutral light. While tinkering with the switch I took the screws
and cover off. I started it and worked on the switch. It started m
The only time I don't ride is in the snow and ice. But, fortunately, we
have little of either in Christchurch. My bikes (two 700SC's) are all I
have through my partner has a car which we use at times. Oh, and some
bicycles which we're frequently on as well.
Not many of us know what Boxing Day is, Graham. It was all new to me when
I arrived in New Zealand in 2003/4.

I put a screwdriver in the plug wire and arc it of the cylinder head. I pulled

My two Nighthawk 700s's are the first shaft-drive motorcycles I've had and,
frankly, I'd have trouble going back to chain-drive stuff. No more oiling
and no more adjusting and the shaft delivers power to the rear wheel quite
smoothly.

Question? What do they mean by unstake the clutch center locknut before
loosening it from the shaft? I don't want to take the Basket off just change
