Am I the only one who has been having been having problems with his Comcast internet? Since June my Motorola Surfboard cable modem has been losing its connection. I've had 5 different tech calls to my house, and each time they pointed fingers at my cable modem as being defective, despite the fact

All that leads to the whole if you "rent" the modem, then they can't point to it as the problem without replacing it. Consider it a insurance policy, you pay it every time it is due so you aren't the one on the hook when crap happens. Other point to check is signal strength. I have seen a lot of c

I think what i'm seeing here is a mix of problems and kudos. Seems like AT&T and Comcast have pretty much the same fail rate and progress rate. The problem here is... AT&T and Comcast are our only options and why can't we, the consumer, allow another entity to come in... say Verizon to sort of bu
