Hi,
looking through enattab and this list's archive I saw that we have …
\bTABLE[option=stretch]
… to make a table wide as textwidth, and …
\setupTABLE[column][1][width=.5\hsize]
… to make the first column half of textwidth.
Now, I want to have the *entire* table scaled .75 of textwidth (set

Hello,
with the latest ConTeXt, it seems, that space around \bTR, \eTR, before
\bTD and after \eTD matters. Such space seems to move the whole TABLE to
the right:
\def\XXX#1{\bTR\bTD#1\eTD\eTR}
\starttext
\centerline{\bTABLE\dorecurse{2}{\XXX{bla}}\eTABLE}
\centerline{\bTABLE\dorecurse{2}{\XXX{bl

Hans,
I played with
\let\beforeTABLEsplitbox\dontleavehmode
\def\afterTABLEsplitbox{\relax\dontl

What I *meant* (sorry!) was
\starttext
\startitemize[n,broad]
\item Hello world!
\bTABLE[split=yes]\bT
Very simple question which has suddenly stumped me:
\starttext
\startitemize[n,broad]
\item Hello world!
\bTABLE\bTR\bTD Little\eTD \bTD table\eTD\eTR\eTABLE
First item continues.
\item Second item.
\stopitemize
\stoptext
How to get the TABLE inside the first item to align with the item

I'd seen a similar problem but didn't manage to catch it before it
slithered away. But I'm pretty sure it used to work (perhaps with an
August 06 release).
Starting from your example, the following was the smallest file I
could find showing the same problem (using the latest beta):
\def\room{\st
Hello Hans,
The following code compiles fine with MikTeX (version 2006.08.22), but
fails with a recent beta:
\def\room#1{\starttable[ s0 |r|l|]#1\stoptable}
\def\student#1#2{\NC#1\NC#2\NC\MR}
\starttext
\room{
\student{A}{B}
\student{C}{D}
}
\stoptext
I get the following error:

Hallo!
Has anybody same effects? Or is this me alone?
Should this work, or is tableenvironment still experimental and those
effects normal?
