I pulled the image openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-X11-raspberrypi3.aarch64-
2018.04.30-Build2.4.raw.xz but it doesn't seem to matter which one I
start with, they all have the 2048x2048 limit.

downloaded and just installed it from the download dialog, I can run it from a
terminal prompt but can't find it's launcher anywhere. Also, I have installed

also coming in at over 1200kbps. I started the downlaod (4.01GB) just
after I sent the first reply in this thread... so
around 45 minutes ago, and the DVD is over half done... about 25 minutes left.
