Yes there is, this is known as a Temporary Table. Only available in 8.1x and
above I believe but am not totally sure. Temporary tables can be created
either for the duration of a session or transaction. Likewise, you can also
create indexes on these tables, that have the same life time as the temp

The nice thing about it is you can see 4 provinces in a relatively short

problem experienced under Tru64 40F with Oracle 8043. I was resolved when
we upgraded to 8062. Maybe it's resurfaced in 8i.

You could add a session_ID ( use dbms_sesssion.unique_session_id to get a
unique id) to the report table and then pass that variable to the report.
Then in the report add to the WHERE clause "AND v_session_id =
whatever_the_id_is"
This should only then return the rows for the specific user.

they inserting new data? Or is the situation that A updates a row and
expects to see that in the report and yet B updates the data to a different
value before A's report runs and A cannot understand why his report didn't
