I have run a variety of the learning classification algorithms without
changing the DEM parameters or specifying a DEM input.
If you're using the Learning algorithms from OTB Monteverdi (6.2.0) or
through QGIS (2.18.5), make sure you unselect the "On edge pixel inclusion"
or you will likely get
6.2.0.

I should add that I'm running OTB 6.2.0 on Windows. I see the
TrainImagesClassifier was a problem in 5.10, which states that it was set
to false and should not be a required parameter. However I still see the
error.

I'm working through this problem myself with Windows 10 QGIS 2.18.5.
I am running the SVM, but getting a sequence of errors.
Fist error was the "sample.edg". Then reading through this thread, I was
able to get through that error, but now I get the "ERROR: Parameter

This is one of those questions that a person can be afraid to ask since it
is very basic. However..
I have gone through most of the OTB CookBook. Now I am starting with the
OTB SoftwareGuide. I want to learn how to build Pipelines and get more out
of OTB.

I am also somewhat new. See my reply to another post on "Configuration".
This is what I have set up, but not sure it is correct. My Orfeo Toolbox
algorithms are now listed in my QGIS Toolbox and available for processing.
I have tested a few in the QGIS Modeler. See the attachm

Hello,
I am attempting to submit a bug report, but don't see a direct way to do
that. I have attempted to sign up for an account via
https://bugs.orfeo-toolbox.org/signup_page.php.
Each time I get this error message after entering my username and email
address and the security code. I tried
only one texture channel? Instead of outputting all 8, I
only want one texture channel. In this case, Inverse Difference Moment
which is the 4th texture feature listed. I tried modifying the Selected
Channel input parameter and the Histogram number of bin parameter, but
getting an error.
Frank
is available from the Monteverdi interface. Once I get the hang of
it, I want to create a few video demonstrations.
Thanks!

I continue to get a "failed to restore window layout!" when launching
monteverdi.bat. 5.8 worked fine.
Any thoughts?
