Hi Joy,
thank you for the info. (Thanks also to the others who wrote me
off list.)
I tried heat and massage with oil and it seems to be working.
The lump isn't as big now.
Someone also suggested that ultrasound might help..If the blockage
hasn't completely resolved by Monday, I'll
heard that the most common cause of mastitis is over
socialising. Perhaps its urgent to take a weekend doing nothing??? :)

been breastfeeding for three years and have, for the first time developed a
blockage. It is about an inch long and an inch in width.
It has been there for a few days and is

Okay guys, I guess it's about time I considered joining the Maternity

Just thought I should first check the level of commitment that is expected.
Can an active member give me some idea? Cas?
Have just given up home schooling three of my five children so I've a little
extra time now.
Great article Cas. Things do indeed look a little more promising for 2004.
And as this year draws to a close, I want to thank all those wonderful
ladies on this list who have helped me get through a really difficult year.
I want to also thank those who are continually striving for a better model

Anyone see the Today Show revisit with mum, dad, babe and the ever present

Grimshaw and liebman were gushy as usual and commented on all the wonderful

you did us proud. Thank you. And thank you to all those who

Did anyone see the promo on the Today show for a live c.section that will be

The mother Liane Cooper has had one prior c.section and is virtually
