arrow to move the finish marker, it works. But, the control-right and left

markers will move to the extreme ends of the file if they are not already

I actually did this once with Gold Wave. I didn't think the file would even
open, but it did. I then just saved it as an mp3. It converted and played
just fine. I even burned it to an audio cd.

and raising the volume a lesser amount by using your arrow keys.

This lets you hear what it will sound like before you commit yourself.
Hit alt p again to stop the preview. While you are listening to the
preview, alt B toggles by-pass on and off, so you can compare what it
sounds like

Forge asks me if I want to play it.
If I say yes, it launches Real player.
