The FCC changed the rules allowing the AM stations to leave the HD channels on
at
night. there have been a lot of complaints because of this. since they use
adjacent frequencies, they mess up long distance listening. I believe that HD
radio will be like stereo A M, Sequam, eventually a bust.
In the community where I live we no longer have am radio, an once the
convergence to high definition television takes place I will have yet a few
more boat anchors to put out on the curb to be picked up by the recycling
people, and then there are the computers. I am now on my third desktop, and
thought wave is automatically unchecked when you check another item such as
mic in this situation.
i would normally keep the mic volume down to 3% for sound quality.

Down here in Lake City Florida, none of the stations were transmitting AM
stereo signals.
But when I left Florida and went to Georgia, this is when I was able to pick
