Hi Lyn, I have owned the H2 for around 8 months now, it is one really fine
sounding digital recorder. Once you get the basics set up, it will
remember your settings. You may need a sighted person too help you make

A bit of a different take here. I just read the article and learned from it.
The term trash box doesn't do anything to me or for me. But I thought it was
an interesting post concerning some aspects of total Recorder. Hey but the
post sure did garner more responses than my last question. *grin*
No, Dane wrote that; Steve just forwarded it, to be perfectly anal about all
this!

Hi! I bought myself a Zoom H2 and it should be arriving by UPS within the
next couple days. I have listened to Neal Ewers' excellent podcasts on this
recorder, and have downloaded and read through the manual, but I was
wondering if anyone out there could give me the menu structure for it, or

I read the rest of the post even though I knew there was going to be a

I won't even bother to read the rest of it. I certainly don't consider a

Yes, I've give all due respect to Apple and OSX but this continually
repeated "trash box" phrase seems almost calculated to get up people's
noses.

I'm not aware of nero being able to make one single track out of a whole

This is just my $0.02, but I think it's an interesting way to start out
a positive article, i.e. referring to your Windows PC and a Trashbox PC.
I know it discourages me, a Windows PC user, from reading the rest of
the article.

that's good to know. I have both of those programs and never investigated
this since I can't imagine wanting all my tracks made in to one continuous

Hello List Members,
Nero can do this for you.
I also know that Roxeo, if I'm spelling that right, can also do this for you
too as well!
My best regards.
John.

do you mean so you have a continuous recording without spaces between the
tracks? You may have to rip the disk in a traditional way and combine the
tracks with Gold Wave or a similar program. Since the tracks are separated,
I can't imagine a ripping program that would join them for you. but then
I sold my Dell with sigmatel because all recordings were muffled and it

that sigmatel had a problem. The output is good, but input is very

HI, I've been having problems recording using audacity and Sigmatel on my

gather is called a "noise gate". The effect is that certain quiet sounds
are missed.
Help please.

I don't know about Audio Grabber, but Windows Media won't allow you to

Hi everyone
I need to burn an audio cd with 14 tracks on it.
However, between tracks 8 and 9, there should be no space and no audible
silence.
In other words, the sounds from track 8 are supposed to flow into the sounds
of track 9.
What would be the best way to record these tracks, should
