Would like to know which Sirius Satellite Radio Brand/model with boombox you are using for the home. Also must have remote control. I currently have an old Audiovox Sirius SIR-PNP2 with boombox and remote control. This old receiver does not allow me to receive 'best of xm' subscription package.

I use my 1gb Zenstone to play books on my NLS player. It will not play with a cartridge inserted, though. I read all mp3 and NLS downloaded books. In my opinion better than a flash drive. It can be removed and reinserted without losing your place in the book. Don - Original Message -

Tom, It sounds to me that there are two separate issues. First, I've found that the NLS player's sleep option works by turning off the machine after the designated time has elapsed. It does so automatically. Otherwise, what would be the point? It's supposed to accommodate people who fall asleep w

Are you sure the player wasn't playing anything? Did you have a book paused or something? It could be a defective player. I would definitely report it to your regional library. It may be addressed in a firmware update, and you may not have to replace the player. Either way, NLS needs to know a

Your NLS player will play BARD and MP3's. Only cartridges are officially supported though. You can purchase blank cartridges and load your MP3's and books from BARD onto them. Using thumb drives or any other USB attached drive with the USB port on the side of the player to play books or MP3's

High Rob and other list members, The answer to this question is 2 fold. #1. the receiver has to be able to receive both Sirius and xm programming. Older receivers won't do this. #2. you have to subscribe to the xm package as well in order to get them both. A trip to the website: www.siriusxm.com
