If you do a track press and then a quick press and hold the player will change folders. The player works best with the wired remote because it has the folder keys built in. I wish the iriver had seporate folder keys or that you could set the track buttons in folder mode when you need it.

resetting file downloads to prompt

For some reason my ogg files and mp3s are opening directly on download. I reset web settings in i e. I deleted the associations and reset them in winamp and they still open directly. I think this happened when I told a file attachment to open directly in outlook express. Help! I am using windows xp

if you don't want to aford the price of a digital recorder you have two choices in my book. Either go the cheaper route and stay with cassette tape or incorporate your recording work in to your laptop or note taker. not much else to choose from. ___

does this program have developed scripts for J F W? Second question is why do you get all of these question marks for the drive letters. IF you go in to the jaws cursor you can see the drive and if you go in to say all mode you can hear the drives, but why the question marks.
