I went into my camera closet yesterday. This is a very large closet,
about twenty feet long and four feet wide, deep underground next to my
computer room. One wall is lined with shelves - and most of the shelf
space is covered with Pentax equipment.
Oh, the LXen, the PZippers, even the little MZ-
It's my favorite walkaround lens. I use it most often with an MX. The
camera will then fit in a pocket. That can be handy when travelling in
unfamiliar territory. Here's a pic that I shot with the MX and the

Okay, I had a casual conversation with my source at Pentax today, and
pounded and pummeled him for something I can actually reveal on the list.
About the P-DSLR, nobody in the USA knows much about it yet. It's possible
that it will be shown "under glass" at PMA. If there are pre-production
samples

quite sure what they're calling it now. Perhaps someone else can provide

quite a bit of technical exchange over the years. Also Pentax is very open

In about a month I am going to Hawaii for a short vacation. Most
likely I will take the 67II and leave home the 35mm gear. Still
deciding on that one.
Anyway, I am wondering what the current state of film going through
the detectors is. Is there any noticeable damage coming from the
x-ray machi
An interesting angle for me is that the 120 roll film is spooled on
plastic cores so theoretically I could walk through the metal detector
with them on my person. Has anyone tried this?
